Press Releases

Friends of the Dew Drop will present an exciting event to be held on Sunday, April 20th at the Dew Drop Jazz Hall. Sponsored by The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Foundation, WWOZ, The City of Mandeville, and Steve and Lucy Tujague, we will be hosting The New Camellia Jazz Revue. With a block party atmosphere, we will enjoy an afternoon of wonderful jazz starting at 12:30, featuring the award winning Fontainebleau High School Jazz Ensemble, the Bayou Liberty Jazz Band, and our special guests, Kermit Ruffins and the Bar-B-Que Swingers!

Due the limited seating in the hall, we will be offering two levels of tickets:

$25 In The Hall

$10 Bring Your Lawn Chair

We will also have a special area on the street available for FREE!

The afternoon promises to be a wonderful time for all, with live audio and video streaming on WWOZ and quality food and beverages offered by Old Mandeville restaurant vendors. Think special Dew Drop Sandwich (shaved prime rib), fried crabs and potato salad, and crawfish pies...
